"Fascination" Times Square District, NYC, NY

Another iconic '80s arcade located on 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, next door to the New Amsterdam Theater. A favorite for pimps, dealers, and grifters.
One of my favorite things about the Fascination (as you can see in two of the signs in the window) is that you could "Win" cigarettes and food coupons.
The Deuce was both dangerous and exhilarating! It was full of foul smells, loud noises, cold stares, and empty faces. But it was also "alive" - there was an energy there that was unlike any in Manhattan (and that's saying a lot). Today its a huge open air mall full of tourist and overpriced cheap shit.
