"David Bowie" The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA. - 1994
Photographed on the 2nd night of his sold-out 4 night run at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.
Dubbed, "A Reality Tour," this tour was in support of the Reality album. Bowie's set lists included an array of classics and deep album cuts along with songs from his new album Reality (among them “New Killer Star,” for which Bowie was honored with a Best Male Rock Vocal Grammy nomination).
The set list that night included tracks spanning Bowie's 30 plus years in the music business, from The Man Who Sold the World (1970) all the way to Reality (2003). Under Pressure, Space Oddity, Golden Years, Young Americans, and Ziggy Stardust (the encore) were standout performances for me.
Bowie retired from performing live in 2006, making this tour his last.
